Within the scope of the Master's Degree in Nursing with Specialization in Medical-Surgical Nursing in the area of Nursing for the Person in Critical Situation, at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, a report was requested. This report seeks to describe and reflect on my performance and the learning process carried out in the internships carried out, both in the field of specialized nursing and in the development of academic skills. The ability to mobilize scientific evidence for practice in order to provide better and quality care, the ability to make differentiated clinical decisions, as well as the acquisition of skills in the area of the person in critical situation were a constant throughout the internships. The work encompasses the contributions left in the training places, such as the creation of an informative leaflet on the teaching of inhalation technique in the emergency department and an integrative review of the literature on the forensic practices of nurses in the extra-hospital environment. The document involves a first part related to the characterization of the internship context, in order to integrate and know the organizational and functional dynamics of the internship places and a second part in which the experiences and activities developed, as well as the competences acquired from the previously outlined objectives. The methodology used is based on a descriptive and analytical-reflective methodology.
