Um percurso reflexivo de aprendizagens

Abstract

Based on the course of Master’s degree in Nursing with the area of specialization in Médico- Cirurgical Nursing, of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, Centro Regional das Beiras, I present the final report of traineeship, where I let know the analysis of the activities developed in the traineeships, as well as the acquired competences. The traineeships in analysis happened in the Hospital São Teotónio de Viseu, in the Polybrave Unity of Intensive Cares, Centro Hospitalar de Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro- Unidade de Vila Real, in the service of Urgency, and also in the Centro Hospitalar de Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro- Unidade de Lamego, Operating Block. The formulation of the final report has some goals, to let know all the activities developed along the effectuated traineeships, connecting them with the objectives proposed in the beginning of the course and along each field of traineeship, to describe the journey of apprenticeship along the traineeships in a systematic, organized form and of reflexive character, and also to serve like auxiliary instrument in the process of evaluation of the acquired competences. The present report is constituted by the introduction, after, the identification of several fields of traineeship with subsequent presentation of the specific objectives and critical analysis of the developed activities where is inserted the presentation of the activities effectuated in each field of traineeship. For last the conclusion is presented whit a synthesis and some final considerations about the apprenticeship in this academic and professional distance. For this preparation, a descriptive methodology was used based on the traineeship project presented as well on personal objectives defined initially for each field of traineeship. Along the elaboration of the above-mentioned traineeships, I cooperated in the organization of the services through the preparation of protocols of acting for several surgeries, organization of material in accordance with the good practices of storage and conditioning of material. I gave my contribute in the realization of a project referring to the relatives of the patients interned in the Unity of Intensive Cares, prepared a work of revision related with the selection of Manchester and a letter of register of interventions carried out in the service of urgency with the intention of allowing the continuation of cares. I contributed to the formation of new professionals, as well as in the formation in service and, in the paper of forming, as trainee. I conducted case studies with relevant topics and a (In) compatibility table in the administration of “Y” medication. I reached human, technical and scientific competences, in the area of the Urgency/Emergence, in the approach of the perioperative patient, as well as in the area of the nosocomial infection, taking as a base the realization of the objectives that I intended along this academic stage.
