This report presents a detailed description of the activities carried out during the internship at the cinema and series news project CinéSérie, part of the company E-Borealis LDA as part of the Master's degree in Enterprise Management for the Creative Industries at Universidade Católica Portuguesa. The internship took place over 24 weeks in Paris and focused on database management and social media management. This report also analyses the presence and the role of women in the Official Selection at the last 20 editions of the Cannes Film Festival. In order to better understand the subject under analysis, the report explores the concept of feminism and how it emerged. A quantitative analysis was carried out of the data on the directors programmed in the Official Selection and the winners of the top prizes in each competition in the Selection, as well as the jury, the presidency of the jury and the Festival de Cannes permanent team. To better understand the evolution of the presence of women throughout the Festival's history, a comparison was made with the study La place des femmes dans la compétition officielle du festival de Cannes - Étude comparerée (1946- 2018) from Collectif 50/50.
