Abstract

This report focuses on the narrative of my journey as a teacher, a journey of (re) discovery and (re) interpretation of my personal and professional identity. It is supported on a theoretical framework that made it easier for me to grasp the purposes which have underlain it, promoters of the meanings that guided it and embody my professional self. In a continuous flow of reflection and analysis, it goes through three significant moments which portray my professional development. Along those moments, the absence of initial supervision, concerning the component part of the project on training and pedagogical practices, the sharing of some - even though timid - experiences of supervision and collaboration practices as well as the performance of new responsibilities will, in a second moment, intersect wishes, show clues and open paths. My journey culminates in a third moment which, in a crescendum, is part of an evolutionary experience of intense professional training, supervision and collaboration, always building consensus to shorten distances in a school intended to be a collaborative learning community. And Now? What Path? It is the epilogue of the journey where you collect the leads that have led your way and continue to guide it – collaborative work and supervision, focusing on the perspective of organizational management, and in-service training. These guiding principles were seen under a critical and analytical look to reflect upon my present and are now used to plan for the future.
