The present study explored the perspectives of professionals who have contact with victims of hate crimes about support services, the victim's passage through the system and secondary victimization. The qualitative methodology was made possible through a questionnaire which analyzed the contact of these professionals with hate crimes victims. The results of the study showed that the professionals report a lack of knowledge about the phenomenon of hate crimes at different levels. From the professionals in the various support services, on how to enhance and maximize their interventions. From the victims, when it comes to their rights and the support services available to them. And from the communities, in terms of understanding the impact of hate crimes and ways to prevent discrimination.
