Abstract

It’s in the way human beings interact with each other in an effective and assertive way that success is achieved on social interactions. Several studies have been carried out in an effort to understand the link and its relation with the establishment of adulthood loving relationships. This case study example aims to understand how the bonding process relates to the representation of intimate relationships and the abusive dynamics between spouses. With the participation of a couple who has been in a relationship for 6 years as well as living together for 12 months. Representational tools such as Adult Attachment Interview (AAI) and Intimate Relationship Interview (IRI) were used to evaluate the representation between childhood relationships and current intimate relationships, as well as Couple Interaction Task (CIT), used to evaluate the behavioral dimension. Results suggest that the representationally organized history of dyads each element interferes on the intimate relationship quality.
