The present study aimed to understand the psychological experience of pregnancy after a successful monitoring service in Reproductive Medicine, in man and woman. Specifically in women, exploring attitudes to pregnancy and maternity as a man and attitudes towards pregnancy and parenthood. We also intend to investigate the existence of anxiety symptoms and / or depression is present in both sexes. For this multiple case study exploratory, appealed to 14couples/28participants aged between 26 and 40 in women and in men aged 31 to 45 years. Data were collected from a hospital unit in the north. The instruments used were Attitudes Scale on Pregnancy and Parenting-EAGM (in women), the Scale of Attitudes About Pregnancy and Parenting - EAGP (in men), and the Hospital Anxiety and Depression, HADS. The main results suggest that statistically significant differences among the participants of this study and the general population on some subscales of attitudes about pregnancy and parenthood (parenthood) and on the scale hospital anxiety and depression, there was does not exist in depressive symptoms in the study, with the highest prevalence in anxiety symptoms in females. The results were corroborated with literature review.
