Due to the scarcity of studies on this topic, and the need to raise awareness on society about the importance of the rights and equality of people with disabilities to overcome prejudice and ignorance. Those factors that hinder access to services both in the protection and intervention of situations of violence against persons with disabilities, this study aims to analyze the degree of vulnerability to violence of adolescents and young adults with disabilities. For this purpose, the questionnaire Evaluation and Diagnosis of situations of neglect, abuse, mistreatment of people with intellectual disabilities and/ or multideficiency prepared by FENACERCI (2010) was completed and generated a sample of 39 participants of both sexes, with any type of disability, from 14 to 24 years of age and who have contact with parents or tutors. According to the sample, significant evidence was presented to affirm that there is a higher degree of vulnerability to violence in people with younger disabilities, in males and with schooling below high school level. Generally, victims of abuse reflect their psychological state through symptoms such as low self-esteem, isolation, depression and anxiety. Therefore, a lot of support and psychological support is needed, in order to reduce the pain caused to the victim and determine intervention strategies for future improvements. The limitations relate to the fact that the limitations are related to the fact that there is a shortage of literature that complements the review and the difficult collaboration of the institutions, since the implementation of the study was refused in several institutions.
