Biografia
Linda Koncz comes from a background in cinema: she holds a Master's degree in Film Theory and Film History from ELTE University (Budapest) and another Master's degree in Filmmaking from Kingston University (London). She completed her PhD in Culture Studies (magna cum laude) at Universidade Católica Portuguesa (funded by FCT). For her PhD thesis, she analysed the influence of cinema and dreams on one another. She is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the DHI Program in CADOS at UCP (funded by Porticus) and investigates the sociocultural aspects of the migrants' integration process in Lisbon, Portugal. She believes in an interdisciplinary approach between the arts and academia and that visual storytelling should be part of academic research.
