Detalhes do projeto
Description
The goal of E-READ was to promote further scientific understanding about the implications of digitisation and, at the same time, bypass speculation about the (negative) cognitive implications of the phenomenon. Based on a multidimensional and integrative model of reading, and through a combination of experimental sciences and the humanities, the project sought to produce new research paradigms, as well as metrics for assessing the true impact of digitisation on reading skills.
CECC participated in the work pursued by working groups nr. 2: Developmental aspects of reading, 3: Experiential and emotional aspects of reading, and 4: The ergonomics of reading (physiology; haptic & tactile feedback).
