Os Hinos Homéricos e a tradição épica

This article intends to present in summary form a key for interpreting the association, in a unique collection, of the thirty-three poetic compositions that the antiquity met under the title Homeric Hymns. From the approach of the distinguishing features that allow to inscribe the Hymns in a common epic tradition, we point then the substantial differences in structure, extent, and chronology, that they present, and we conclude, bycomparison with other models of epic composition, on their traditional nature.
