The needs expressed by adolescents about health literacy on the web platform "Your PEL''

Introduction Adolescents require attention to health determinants, making it a challenge to promote social cohesion and active citizenship. Responding to the social challenges of Health 2020, Your PEL Project - Promotion and Empowerment for Health Literacy- emerged in the young population. This project integrates the construction of a web communication solution for content mobilization in the areas of nutrition, harmful consumption and sexuality for students in the 3rd cycle of basic education. Objective To identify the needs expressed by adolescents in the cognitive, affective and behavioural domains in the three areas of Your PEL project. Methods Through the Web platform of Your PEL project, all the questions asked by the adolescent population are selected, from February 12 to April 15, 2019. Starting from a qualitative perspective, the questions formulated by the adolescents will be constituted as the Corpus of analysis and submitted to the technique of content analysis. The internal and external validation will be done through a group interview, where the interviewees will be the investigators of Your PEL project, and the spoken speech will be submitted to content analysis. Results The needs expressed by the adolescents will reveal the areas of greatest interest, suggestive of their needs, cognitive, affective and behavioural, contextualized in the development process. Conclusion The results of this study, integrated in Your PEL Project and in the Master in Community Nursing, are expected to contribute to a program of intervention of good practices in the empowerment of young people.
